Palmgren® at Blade Show 2024: Forging New Relationships…Partnerships…and Crafting New Tools!

The annual Blade Show in Atlanta, Georgia, is a mecca for knife enthusiasts, collectors, and artisans from around the globe. This year's event was nothing short of spectacular, and Palmgren Tools was proud to be a part of it. The turnout was unprecedented, with thousands of attendees flooding the Georgia International Convention Center over the three-day event.

The Crowd and the Buzz

From the moment the doors opened, it was clear that this year's Blade Show would set new records. Enthusiasts of all ages, from seasoned collectors to curious newcomers, filled the halls, eager to see the latest innovations and timeless classics in the knife world. The energy was electric, and the air buzzed with excitement as visitors navigated through the myriad of booths, each one showcasing unique blades, tools, and accessories.

Meeting the Icons

One of the highlights of the show was the opportunity to meet some of the most renowned artists and craftsmen in the industry.

  • Steve Schwarzer: The most respected names in the knife making world. Steve is known for being the longest serving ABS Master Smith with the proper title of Top Mosaic Damascus Specialist. Not only is he a member of the cutlery hall of fame, but he is also a mentor, a teacher, and all around a standup guy and forever be one of the greats!

  • Jason Knight: A master smith with more than 35,000 hours of experience in his craft. His style of knives are truly works of arts and most replicated throughout new bladesmiths honing into their craft. Jason has a true passion in the knife artistry that he loves to share and teach. He is very looked up to in this world, and if you know him personally you can understand why!
