Palmgren® at Blade Show Atlanta 2025: Crafting Connections, Elevating Precision

Atlanta, GA – Blade Show Atlanta 2025 was nothing short of incredible, and Palmgren was proud to be part of the world’s largest knife event. From the roar of grinders to the shine of freshly honed steel, this year’s show was a celebration of craftsmanship—and Palmgren was right at the heart of it.

For three days, the Cobb Galleria buzzed with makers from around the world, each one carrying a story, a technique, and a passion for the blade. Whether they were full-time bladesmiths, weekend hobbyists, or industry veterans, they came to see what’s next—and many found it in Palmgren.

We were honored to connect with a passionate community of knife makers, bladesmiths, and tool enthusiasts who care deeply about precision, performance, and quality; values that have defined Palmgren since our founding in 1919.

Meeting the Makers: Building Relationships That Matter

One of the biggest highlights of the show was getting to meet so many of the incredible artists who breathe life into their blades. These are the creators who sweat the details, who rely on durable, accurate tools that don’t just keep up—but push their work further.

We’re proud to announce several new collaborations with respected makers we met at the show, many of whom will be working with Palmgren tools in their shops and workshops around the country. These artists represent a wide range of knife-making styles, from traditional Japanese-inspired blades to modern tactical designs.

These partnerships are more than just promotional they’re built on shared respect for the craft. Expect to see some of these makers featured in upcoming content, tutorials, and showcases as we continue to support the community that inspires us.

We also had the chance to listen, something we value deeply. Feedback from real users helps shape the next generation of our tools, and it’s conversations like these that fuel our innovation.

A Special Thanks to Warriors Way

Palmgren extends a heartfelt thank you to Warriors Way, a non-profit dedicated to supporting veterans through hands-on knife making education and skills development. Their team was instrumental in our Blade Show presence, helping not only with booth operations but also engaging with attendees, answering technical questions, and sharing their journey from service to steel.

We’re incredibly proud to sponsor Warriors Way and stand behind their mission. Their work transforms lives, and it’s an honor to provide the tools that help shape that transformation.

Their booth presence created a powerful bridge between purpose and product, highlighting how knife making can serve as therapy, training, and career for veterans transitioning into civilian life.

The Stars of the Show: Palmgren Tools That Turned Heads

Palmgren's booth #138 was packed with energy, demos, and hands-on experiences with the tools that help makers get the job done right. Here's what stole the spotlight:

Precision meets versatility. With digital readout and rugged design, this mill drew major attention from folder and fixed-blade makers alike. It’s perfect for those who need exact cuts and detailed milling without the footprint of a full industrial machine. Many attendees shared how the DRO system helped eliminate guesswork and speed up their workflows.

A fan favorite. The ball vise’s ability to quickly adjust and lock into position made it a go-to for handle shaping, pin setting, and finishing work. Its rock-solid hold and smooth articulation impressed new and seasoned smiths alike. Demonstrations ran nonstop, with many attendees calling it their favorite hands-on tool at the booth.

This workhorse was running non-stop. Knife makers loved the versatility sanding, shaping, and polishing in one compact footprint. Built for heavy shop use but accessible for garage tinkerers too. Its durability and ease-of-use became a conversation point among makers tired of consumer-grade grinders.

When you need clean, fast cuts in steel and handle material, this saw delivers. Compact but powerful, it’s perfect for knife blanks and general metal fabrication. Its smooth operation and minimal vibration left a lasting impression with custom makers and production teams alike.

Whether you're putting the final polish on a blade or finishing a handle, our variable-speed buffers were a hit. Quiet, well balanaced motors, reliable, and built for control, these tools were a demo magnet throughout the show. The ability to dial in exact polishing speeds made it a standout for makers with high-end finish demands.

We’re committed to building relationships in the knife-making world, to supporting non-profits like Warriors Way, and to continually evolving our product line to meet the needs of real craftspeople.

We left with new ideas, stronger partnerships, and a renewed sense of purpose. From first-time hobbyists to master smiths, the response we received reaffirmed our role in this ever-growing community.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared stories, gave feedback, or just talked tools with us. We left inspired and more motivated than ever.

Stay tuned for new content, artist spotlights, and upcoming innovations. And if you missed us in Atlanta....don’t worry. This is only the beginning.
