C.H. Hanson/Palmgren warrants their products to be free of defects in material or workmanship.
Warranty Coverage
- Lifetime Warranty – Arbor presses, clamps, positioning tables, bench vises, and machine vises. For purposes of this warranty, “Lifetime” means the lifetime of the product under normal use and service by the original purchaser.
- 3-Year Warranty – Bench grinders, buffers, drill presses, finishing machines, h-frame presses, lathes, milling machines, sawing machines, stands, tapping machines, turning machines, and metal forming equipment. For purposes of this warranty, “3-Year” means three years from the date of purchase under normal use and service by the original purchaser.
- 1-Year Warranty – Copper jaw caps, jack screws and work stands. For purposes of this warranty, “1-Year” means one year from the date of purchase under normal use and service by the original purchaser.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover defects due directly or indirectly to:
- Alterations or modifications of the product
- Damage from misuse, abuse, or improper maintenance
- Freight and packing costs
- Heated or ground tools
- Normal wear and tear
- Use of the product for purposes other than intended
This warranty also does not cover expendable and/or wear parts, including but not limited to:
- Abrasives
- Belts (including V-belts)
- Jaws
- Screws
Customer Responsibilities
- Maintain and lubricate the product under normal operating conditions, at all times.
- Review and follow all instructions, manuals, cautions, and warnings prior to operation. Failure to follow instructions will void warranty coverage.
Warranty Service
C.H. Hanson/Palmgren’s obligation is limited solely to the repair or replacement (at our option) of any covered part that proves inoperable, either at our factory or through an authorized repair agent.
How to File a Claim
- Contact customer service at 630-848-2000 or sales@chhanson.com to obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA#).
- Once you have your RGA#, return the product to C.H. Hanson/Palmgren at the address below.
Please note: All shipping and return expenses associated with warranty claims are the responsibility of the purchaser. - Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
Limitation of Liability
This warranty is the purchaser’s exclusive remedy against C.H. Hanson/Palmgren for any inoperable parts in its products. Under no circumstances will C.H. Hanson/Palmgren be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits) related to the use or inability to use the product.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, which may vary from state to state.
